Active Fundraising

-Apex

-cheat sheet was made with information regarding percentages back to our school. Percentage higher than when we did it on our own.

-Boosterthon

-Had presentation in past. Sent us risk free trial contract. They guarantee the school $44,000 with other incentives. San Elijo Elementary uses them and Debbie/Vicki went to see it.

-Alyssa Wells said she likes the sign up and crew for Apex this year. Stephanie Kennedy feels this Apex crew is very interactive.

-SpringFest

-Belly up possibility 5/13 with Common Sense playing later that night or 5/20 but unsure of band. $50pp gives 1 drink and appetizers (plus concert)

-for Belly up we have to have 200 people. Last year we only had 75 people go.

-Cindi proposed to ask if we could go 8-10pm and then we can pay extra if we want to stay for the concert

-Last year we made $1900 with silent auction and 50/50 board

-Welcome Stephanie and Kari who will possibly do activities next year

-LeeAnne said that there has been a huge response to the Daddy Daughter Dance

Passive Fundraising

-Padre day: we got rid of it since there was never a good turn out. Friar and Padre girls have been on campus and will be here during Apex. Proposed doing our Padre day over the summer. Lindsey said we had to buy bulk tickets in past and no money was reimbursed. Kennedy recommended that we try to get discounted seats and ask about other schools doing it over the summer and their turn out.

-Dolphin Partners: Lindsey had meeting last week. Other businesses have reached out. Possibly of using Dolphin Partners as a parking lot for vendors. Still working to see what would work best.

-May put all vendors in Picnic in the Park, but did not want to push another thing right before school is out. We need a broad program and not one that is specific for each vendor. When more businesses reach out we will add them to the dolphin partners.

-Bloom wants to do a shopping week where a percentage goes back to LCM. Possibly for Boutique week we will reach out to them again.

-Talked about possibly have 2 different platforms for vendors: stores and products/services

-We don't want to say no to people who want to support so it is finding a place to put the vendors. Link to vendors on website

-Recommend to think about ideas for next school year.

Communications

-Kay: discussed the Eblast communication process. Kay handed out a sheet with instructions on it for sending out e-mails. Please make sure to use correct title in subject line. Please make sure to keep the e-mails strictly for Eblast. There are many e-mails coming through and this helps to make sure important stuff is not overlooked.

-Jen: on e-mails please do not CC everyone on it. To hard to get to the original with the important information on it. Lori asked if she should CC Vicki and Cindi with her Eblasts? Jen said it is ok as long as she has a separate e-mail to her with the link she needs.

-Kay needs Eblast information by Fridays at noon in order to get it to Klimas on time.

Activities

-Movie night cancelled due to rain. Scheduled for March 3rd. If it gets rained out the company will give us credit that we have 1 year to use. If it is rained out again we will lose the movie licensing money. It is bring your own dinner and popcorn/candy will be served.

-Mother Son kickball: Tshirt is designed and looks great. Embroider me is doing the shirts. Notorious burger will be a vendor along with a few more.

Art

Room Parent

-Teacher Appreciation is coming up.

-Hospitality team is lined up for next year

Treasurer

-Art budget is maxed. If Tori needs supplies she can pull from surplus money.
